Mateo Barron, native Angelino, son of El Salvadoran and Mexican immigrant parents. Mr. Barron attended Loyola Marymount University where he pursued a B.A. in Business with emphasis in Marketing and Management. Shortly after graduating, he entered the entertainment industry for a short stint and eventually found his career in commercial insurance. He began working at AIG in Downtown LA as a professional associate and then moved on to becoming Assistant Vice President, Senior Underwriter at AXA XL, one of the leading providers of Property & Casualty global programs. As of September of 2021, he has now returned full circle to lead the West Zone as Regional Underwriting Manager for the Primary Admitted Casualty group where he first began, AIG.
